About
Frances Glen is a Scottish based artists and designer. Her brightly coloured and contemporary textiles, homeware and stationery are all hand drawn and inspired by Scottish wildlife. She features a lot of the well know and loved Scottish animals and birds such as puffins, deer and Highlands cows, but also feature some of the more unusual ones such as the midges, capercaillie and Scottish wildcat.
Sustainability is important to her and where possible she uses recycled paper and card for her products and packaging. All of her products are manufactured the UK.
Her set up my company, Tammie Norries, during the first lockdown in March 2020 and works from my home studio in Kilmacolm on the West coast of Scotland.
She trained in Applied Arts and printmaking and in 2018 won Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas toy competition.
She has her my own range of textiles, homeware and stationary but also works on commissions and collaborative projects for other companies.
The company is called ‘Tammie Norries’ as this is what they call puffins in the Shetland and Orkney islands.
